Description:

Honeywell is looking for an AI Engineer II to join its AI team in Bangalore, focusing on developing advanced AI solutions including Generative AI (Transformers, GANs, Diffusion Models), Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Autonomous Navigation. The role involves designing, building, evaluating, and deploying AI models, with responsibilities across the full machine learning lifecycle from data preprocessing to model fine-tuning and optimization.

You will collaborate with engineers and researchers to implement AI-driven innovation within Honeywell’s product portfolio. Staying abreast of new developments in AI and applying them effectively will be critical. This role suits motivated individuals passionate about contributing to cutting-edge AI technologies and growing their expertise in a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and fine-tune AI models, with a focus on Generative AI and Large Language Models
• Work on computer vision and vision-language models
• Process large datasets for model training and validation
• Optimize and deploy scalable AI solutions
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate AI into products
• Document work and support project planning and discussions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from IIT, NIT, IIIT or equivalent, with 3+ years hands-on AI/ML experience OR Master’s degree fresher from reputed institution with relevant project experience
• Strong deep learning foundation and familiarity with advanced neural architectures
• Proficiency in Python and AI frameworks
• Familiarity with MLOps and cloud AI services is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
